About WinBe Schools
WinBe is a new concept of Intercultural Communication in English. As part of Tact, a company with over 400 schools around the country, and over 24,000 students studying within our schools, we have a background of thirty years in the education industry. Along with the School IE and Child Eyes, education for young children, we form a powerful education combination nationwide. Most of our schools are together with one or both of IE or Child Eyes, though some stand alone as WinBe schools. The WinBe classroom is furnished with table, chairs and whiteboard. Also provided are a comprehensive range of textbooks from major publishers and our own original curriculum. Our philosophy is "Tanoshiku Manabu", to have fun while learning; to provide a chance for students and teachers to learn about each others’ cultures and to provide the joy of being able to express what our students want to say in English The idea of an English school inside a juku is an exciting one for both teachers and students. It is a unique opportunity to introduce the world of spoken English to students taking a break from their school studies, for whole families to take lessons at the same school, and a rare chance for native speaking English teachers to work in a friendly environment alongside Japanese teachers. Students range from kindergartners to grandparents and popular reasons for studying include: the chance to practise communication with a native English speaker; an opportunity to brush up English skills before an overseas trip; and the need for English ability in the workspace. There are also increasing numbers of children returning from periods of stay in English-speaking countries.
